You can become a member of Earthworker Co-operative for $20 (plus a small admin charge if you do this online).

Worker-owned and run sustainable manufacturing in Australia

As a member you will be a part of making a big change in Australia by providing Earthworker with financial support and member-contribution. You can help us build up our member-network so we can achieve a first – worker-owned and run green manufacturing in Australia. Members can also donate more to get us closer to our goal.

The first objective of the Earthworker Co-operative is to establish a worker-owned factory in Morwell (Eureka’s Future); which will produce solar hot water units that will be able to be purchased by individuals or collectively through Enterprise Bargaining Agreements at workplaces across Australia. Earthworker Co-operative has the factory lined up in Morwell; what we need now is the money for factory equipment and other expenses related to the project. You can join Earthworker to be a part of the ‘100,000 Australians Campaign’ for this purpose.

Note: At this stage we can only join up members in Victoria. However if you are from another Australian state or territory don’t worry, you can still pay online (we will make you a member as soon as the national laws come through to allow this – due 2013). At this stage we are not taking international memberships (outside of Australia) but contact us if you would like to support Earthworker in other ways.
